### How do I know which Linux distribution I am using?
You can run this command:
```sh
cat /etc/os-release
```
For example:
- for Debian 11 (Bullseye) you'll see:
```sh
PRETTY_NAME="Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye)"
```
- for Alpine Linux 3.14 you'll see:
```sh
PRETTY_NAME="Alpine Linux v3.14"
```
